Booking & Cancellation Policy

Service Fee:

• Guests pay a 10% service fee to Jirany at the time of booking.

• This service fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Host Compensation for Last-Minute Cancellations:

• If a guest cancels less than 24 hours before check-in, hosts are eligible for additional compensation based on the number of nights booked:

• The 10% service fee retained by Jirany is not affected.

• This ensures hosts are protected from last-minute cancellations while guests are informed upfront.

Comments

When visitors leave comments or reviews on Jirany, we collect the data shown in the form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (a hash) may be shared with the Gravatar service to check if you use it. Gravatar’s Privacy Policy is available here. After your comment is approved, your profile picture may be publicly visible alongside your comment.

Media

If you upload images (such as property photos or profile pictures) to Jirany, please ensure they do not contain embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the platform may download and extract location data from images displayed on listings.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on Jirany, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies for convenience. These cookies last for one year.

If you have an account and log in to Jirany, we set temporary cookies to determine if your browser accepts cookies. These contain no personal data and are discarded when you close your browser.

• Screen option cookies last one year

• Remember Me persists for two weeks

Listings or articles on Jirany may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, or articles). Embedded content from other websites behaves as if you have visited the external site directly. How Long We Retain Your Data

• Comments and review content are stored indefinitely to help us recognize and approve follow-ups automatically.

• For registered users (Hosts and Guests), we store personal information provided in their profile.

• Users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except usernames, which cannot be changed).

• Jirany administrators may also view and edit this information.
